About Spokane Web Design Co

Spokane Web Design Co builds SEO-led websites for Inland Northwest service businesses — at a price published on the page, designed for your approval before the build, and handed over in your name. We are a small team backed by a veteran-owned agency that has been building websites since 2011. Here is who we are, who does the work, and why we can price it the way we do.

The short version

Who we are, and who does the work

Spokane Web Design Co is a brand of Salterra Digital Services, LLC — a veteran-owned digital agency that has been building and ranking websites since 2011. The brand is new, registered in 2026 to serve the Spokane and Inland Northwest market specifically. The team behind it is not.

We say that plainly because you would find it out anyway, and because it is the argument, not the fine print. When you hire us, the work is fulfilled by Salterra’s team — the same people who have delivered hundreds of builds over more than a decade. What Spokane Web Design Co adds is a focus: websites for service businesses in this region, priced and packaged for owners who want a straight answer instead of a discovery call.

Salterra’s reviews, its awards and its fourteen-year track record belong to Salterra, and we attribute them that way — never as this brand’s own. Spokane Web Design Co is new and has its own record to build. What we borrow from the parent is capability, not credit.

Design

Elisabeth Samuels, Creative Director

Elisabeth Samuels is Co-Owner and Creative Director, and she leads the design and development work. She has spent more than twelve years building websites professionally, and her approach is the reason a $499 site from us does not look like a $499 site.

In her own words: “My design philosophy starts with the client’s brand position, not a template. Every layout, color choice and page structure is built to strengthen how the business is perceived in its market, and to make the path from visitor to lead as clear as possible.”

That is not a slogan we wrote for her. It is how the work actually gets done — which is why nothing we build looks like a bought theme with your logo dropped into it.

Search

The search authority behind "built to be found"

The other half of the argument is search. A site that looks good and never gets found is the exact thing we are built to avoid, and that discipline comes from Terry Samuels — owner, digital marketer, and an SEO speaker who founded SEO University and owns the SEOST Conference. Twenty-plus years in software, a decade running an agency.

It matters because “built to be found” is easy to claim and hard to back. When we say a site is engineered to rank rather than decorated to look busy, the people writing that structure do SEO for a living and teach it to other people who do. Elisabeth carries the design authority; Terry carries the search authority. We keep them distinct on purpose.

What we believe

What we believe about building websites

You own everything, from day one

The domain, the hosting and every file are registered and set up in your name. When the site is done it is yours — keep working with us because you want to, not because leaving would mean starting over. Most agencies build lock-in into the model. We build it out.

The price is on the page

You see what a site costs before you talk to anyone. New builds start at $499 for up to 15 pages, $999 for 16 to 50, and $1,499 for 51 or more. No discovery theater, no proposal you have to wait a week for, no surprise invoice at the end.

You approve the design before we build it

You see the real design on a real page and sign off on it before a single page gets built. The most common horror story in this business starts with someone approving a finished site they never really got a say in. That does not happen here.

Built to be found, not just looked at

Heading structure, internal links, schema and page speed are part of the build, not an upsell offered six months later when the site is not bringing anything in. A pretty site nobody finds is the problem we exist to fix.

Straight answer

Why there is no Spokane office

We do not have a Spokane office, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We build remotely, and that is a large part of why the price works. There is no storefront to rent, no reception desk to staff, no local overhead to pass on to you — so the money goes into the site instead of into the cost of looking local.

What that means in practice: we serve Spokane, Spokane Valley, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Liberty Lake, Hayden, Rathdrum and the wider Inland Northwest by doing the work, not by planting a flag. If you would rather hire a designer you can meet for coffee, that is a fair preference and there are good local people who can. If what you want is the site done well, owned outright and priced honestly, where we sit does not change any of that.
